Colorado Nursing CE, APRN Certification and Renewal Warnings
Do not buy CE just because a private page says “required.” Colorado’s nursing FAQ says CE hours are not currently required for RN, Practical Nurse, Nurse Aide Certification or Psychiatric Technician renewal. APRNs still must maintain their professional certification requirements.
RN/LPN/CNA/Psych Tech

Certification still matters
APRN renewal does not add extra Colorado CE beyond maintaining professional certification, but national certification may have its own education and recertification rules.

Colorado Nurse Licensure Compact and Multistate License Checks
Colorado is part of the Nurse Licensure Compact, but compact practice authority depends on license type, primary state of residence, discipline status and background-check requirements.
RN or PN multistate license
An RN or PN multistate license can allow practice in other NLC states, but it must be issued by the nurse’s primary state of residence.
